CODE OF CONDUCT

  1. Each participant is responsible for fulfilling any VISA requirements for the Republic of Turkey.
  2. Cancellation of participation should be notified to the organizing team immediately. Since the organization is not able to recover the already made costs for each participant, the fee cannot be refunded for any reason. In case of cancellation, the organizing team of TEDMUN ‘19 cannot be held responsible for any costs on behalf of the participant, such as the travel costs.
  3. All participants must participate in every part of the session. It is strictly forbidden to leave the session venues without informing the organizing team.
  4. All participants must strictly follow the instructions of the organizing and academic team at all times.
  5. All participants are obliged to follow the laws of the Republic of Turkey at the session.
  6. Participation in physical activity involves the risk of injury to one’s person or property and the participants accept these potential risks. Any damage caused by a participant to any property during the session is at one’s own expense. The organizing team of TEDMUN 19 accepts no responsibility for loss, theft or damage of participants’ property. Participants should take care of their possessions at all times.
  7. There will be a strict zero-tolerance policy on tobacco, alcohol and drugs. Possession of tobacco, alcohol or drugs in the session venues or intoxication at any point during the session will result with the expulsion of the participant from the session at his/her own expenses
  8. All participants must strictly follow a formal dress code.
  9. All participants should be aware that journalists can potentially interview them and capture them on footage, and the footage might be published on
    1. the official webpage of TEDMUN ‘19
    2. the official Facebook Page of TEDMUN ‘19
    3. the official Instagram Account of TEDMUN ‘19
    4. the official Snapchat Account of TEDMUN ’19
    5. publications that are released by the press team.
  10. All participants should be aware that any mistake done will have responses in order of decree;
    1. An oral warning,
    2. A written warning,
    3. Notification to the advisor, school authorities, parents,
    4. Not receiving any certificate,
    5. Expulsion.
